i was walking around in Causeway Point, and decided to take a look at the bags that are used to hold waterbags, and returned with a neat spoil from my shopping ! no need to worry about my water bottle getting stolen during my runs ! =P
there's only red, and i pretty like the design.. it can hold 2L of water..
lifting up the tag reveals a side pocket that you can put your wallet, phone, keys !
reflective strip where you can hook your bicycle LED blinker, so that a car does not run you down..
i tried it on at the shop, and the support seems okay.. important is that it does not bouncy around when you're running..
no more excuses of stopping to drink ! T_Tmore importantly, the price factor. i remember wanting to get this a few year back, but the price just puts me off. it was close to 3 digits if i remember (and who knows why so much for so little material), but I got this for a neat price tag.
ok lah, not bad.. i gotta put it to good use (when it stop raininh every afternoon)

Do you know that instant noodles are covered with a layer of wax ?
" ...The other thing that you may or may not realized is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days
for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles. "
Taken from health2know
How should you cook them then ? Let Chef Time show you !
Step 1: Choice of Instant NoodlesI chose
Koka because it does not contain MSG, and the noodles taste really good ! Close match with Chu Qian Yi Ding noodies !
Step 2: Boil Noodles OnlyNotice that after the water boils, it starts to turn whitish in color.. that's all the wax coming off from the noodles !
Step 3: Discard water, Rinse Noodles, Fresh WaterDiscard the water with the dissolved wax, and rince the noodles in a bit of water first (like you always see in the Hawker Centres where they take the noodles out after cooking in the boiling water to rinse) before adding fresh water to the noodles again.
DO NOT ADD TO MUCH WATER ! JUST ENOUGH TO BARELY COVER THE NOODLES WILL DO !
Step 4: Add flavouringOnce the water has started boiling, quickly add the flavouring. Drain away excess water if needed as the noodles should have absorbed quite a fair bit of the water in the initial stage.
Step 5: Cover the lid, small fireCover the pot with the lid, and lower the flame. The noodles should be fairly cooked now, and what we really want is the noodle to absorb all the flavouring from the broth. We shouldn't let it boil for too long. 1 min should do.

Step 6: A little extraMeanwhile, prepare what you want to add your noodles quickly. I had hot-dogs, and some japanese flavouring.

What is this Japanees Flavouring ? I got them from Jusco @ IMM.. It's actually meant to be added to your rice, but I guess noodles with little soup should be fine..
Step 7: Concerning SausagesNow, if you add anything else (fishballs, meatballs, luncheon meat) just leave it there. But if it's a sausage, don't leave it for too long. If not, the sausage will become AWEFULLY BIG ! it loses it's taste too, and we don't want that to happen.

Step 8: The Finishing TouchLast of all, if you have anything to add, garnish you noodles. Notice that the noodles don't have a lot of soup, and that where you can actually taste the japanese garnishing without it becoming soggy or anything.

well, I went off with Bro Darren & Family + Gabriel & Matthias.. their parents & sisters are all away in Hong Kong for a week, so they're sticking with the Wongs for a while..
In the van, we were all cracking our heads as to where our lunch destination should be just when a Botak Jones banner flashed by along the road.. =)
The order took about 30 mins, but it was worth the wait. Gabriel ordered Fish, while I took this (with free extra fries)...
This is what I had for lunch !Both of us had a hard time finishing up the meal, and had the kids to pinch at our fries... *burp*
The outlet is located at Marsiling, near the Loy-Kee Chicken Rice which is a stone's throw away from Fuchun Secondary.. looks like I'll be lunching there someday..
