Teens Camp X SISPEC X Shopping

headed for Teens camp after my POP ... after Army camp still got another camp ! hahaz~





it was @ Presbyterian High School which is opposite YCK MRT, from Tues - Sat ... although numbers have dwindled this year, we have quite a few new blood from the children's ministry ... went through the book of Romans, and "Pilgrims Progress" too ... it was good this year, especially in what we're learnt, both campers and helpers alike ... we did a kewl pyramid-structure to hang the 3 banners from the 3 groups too ... pretty impressive i might say ... and people who didn't want to come at first came, and people who were supposed to leave decided to stay on till the end of the camp ... AMEN !!! =)





got my posting on Friday (Julius, my buddy helped me to check online when I was still at the camp), and i'm to report to SISPEC on Monday, 0830H ... back to Tekong again ... 0_o"





wellz, for the finale night, we presented the theme song "And Can It Be" in a different arrangement ... Saturday, we break camp ... and the helpers of course had to go back to Salang for some packing ... we had our lunch @ "Taste of Thailand" (treat courtesy of Yufeng's year-end bonus) ... I went shopping after that too ... wanted to shop for a nice cap, but ended up buying other stuffz too ! hahaz~ got everything from "Samuel & Kevin" - 1 wool jacket, 2 shirts, 1 shorts & 1 cap !





went to Church, and had lunch with Yubao & Meilan @ Causeway Point ... roamed about a bit till I called back home only to discover that Mum's going to ABM ... might as well tag along then ... on our way back in the van, sang with Tim + Agnus + Chong Long in the vehicle acapella in parts ... and it sounded SOOOO NICE !

24km road march X hurt my knee X POP

wellz, I finished the last major event of my BMT - the 24km road march ! and the sucky thing is that we had to do some "fatique work" aka "sai kang" the whole afternoon before that, while the rest of the other platoons & companies had an afternoon nap ... 0_o"





we started by marcing around the whole school (coastal road twice), totaling 8.4km first ... before moving on to march 8km to our destination and back again ... it was kinda tiring though, considering that we didn't get any rest before that this time round ... people didn't wanna sing, and the journey seemed to take a bit on our weary legs ... but when it was finally over, you can imagine the HIGH feeling that we all had ... and we took no time to camo the faces of our PC (Platoon Commander) - 2LT Sandip, our FS (Fitness Specialist) which was the once-called PTI - Ezekiel, and a new sergeant that our Sir commanded us to "welcome" into Bravo Company ... heh heh~





the rest of the week was spent practicing for our POP parade, and the night before the actual day, something just had to happen ... I slipped on a wet tile and my left knee took a bad knock on the edge of a pillar on our floor ... my section mates had to carry me into the bumk too ... couldn't walk properly for a day after that ... because of my injury, I had to forgo the march-past and do the rear-entry only, where you throw your jockey cap into the air ... kinda sad that I couldn't march, and to pass out without doing the full thing ...





we did have a photo-taking session after throwing our caps though ... going around like crazy taking shots and screaming around with our sergeants which looked kinda sad that we're leaving (some self-confessed on that) ... come to think of that, BMT kinda zoomed past me caused of our packed schedule, one event after another just like that ... but overall, it was fun ... gonna miss the times there, and of course my lovely bunk and bed ... =)
