Summer League 2006 Finals @ Turf City

woke up early in the morning at 7am and starting packing my gear for the Summer League 2006 Finals ! i wore my new "blue tee fake wear-inside long-sleeve shirt" that i got from S&K for $7 ... heh heh~

i went over to Yishun and took 852 over to Bukit Timah Road first, before trying to navigate myself to Turf City (which was one heck of a distance from the main road) ... but thankfully I met a kind soul who drove in, and she let me hitch-hike in her car ...

it rained after the 1st game, and our whole team huddles together in the tent-area munching on candies ... the whole place got flooded and muddy for the next 2 games !


Go... A-TEAM !!!

we played execllent as a whole team today, beating all 3 opponent teams (including thrashing Turtles in they came back and we lost by a point some time back), thus landing ourselves into the SEMI-FINALS !!!


Ultimate Summer League 2006 - A-Team

we won our SEMIs too, and faced Team Nanashi ... but the young & energetic team outplayed us and won it ... to celebrate being 2nd in the league, we threw each other in the mud and played around ! hahaz~

so let's see ... i've been running for 60mins X 3 + 90min x 2 = Around 5hrs !!!

oh man, got tired legs and even worse - groin abrasion !

went over Ubin & Sophie's new place for a while in the evening in which they showed us their honeymoon photos in Ireland & Austra ... pretty nice place i must say !

well, just discovered that my mum had received a Creative Digital Camcorder from the insurance company yesterday ... now it needs is an SD-Card, and I can't wait to use it !



well, i've been pretty down for the past few months.. rather painful with occasional "downs" from time to time... gotta start picking myself up again somehow...

today's agenda - take IPPT @ Khatib Camp.. Han accompanied me to take the test today, and on our way out, we met WO Yeo at the main gate.. He was going to Khatib Camp as well, so that saves some transport money and time ! =)

also, i found out that i wun be taking the test alone this time.. with Chieok (Han's former instructor) and Michael (my PTI coursemate).. suprisingly, i can jump a 234 for my Standing Broad Jump not once, but TWICE ! but one short of a chinup costed me a whooping $100 ! (ouch)

it started to pour heavily, forcing us to debate whether we have to take the test another day.. thankfully, it ended at 6pm.. the track was wet, but we had a cool weather for the run ! i paced Michael for a 9:54 before heading home ...

ok, i just discovered that my bed in my camp bunk has BED BUGS ! couldn't sleep on Monday night, and I was practically scratching my itching legs till morn ... looks like all the more reason not to sleep there !

maybe i'm gonna get insecticide and kill them all on Friday.. yeah, maybe that will do ! die you blood-sucking critters...

well, the soccer trials jn the evening went well (except for the fact that i already ran 7km in the morning)... suffered a cramp in the end with my other striker that forced the match to a premature end.. hahaz~
