wellz, spent much of today fine-tuning my sermon ... It was pretty fine I guess ... didn't black-out halfway or something ... =)

It's pretty amazing what can come out from just a few verses, and preparing one sermon doesn't take a while though ... spent 3 hours getting the skeleton up, and the next a few days fo get the "meaty portion" in, and also to do some fine-tuning ... not an easy job ...

Netherlands vs Portugal tonight ... the toughest & most exciting match of Euro 2004 so far ...

After days of serious consideration, I'll pick for a Holland win as they seem to have a better defence than those Portugese "lau ah peks", and also quite a handful of world-class forwards too like Roy Makaay, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Patrick Kluivert, Arjen Robben, Andy van der Meyde ... The mid-field battle will be a tough one ... Edgar David, Clarence Seedorf and Philip Cocu better clamp down Luis Figo & Cristiano Rolando ... not sure if Rafael van der Vaart will start (maybe not i guess) ...

I'd like Portugal to win, but the odds goes to the Netherlands slightly ... can't wait for it to start ! =)

wahahaz~ the Czechs got through ! Only got one error so far in my Euro 2004 analysis ... =P

At the rate Milan Baros is playing, Liverpool should have no excuses giving him regular first-team with Cisse and Owen ... simply superb ! *thumbs up*

Liverpool is the team to watch next season guys ! Cisse + Baros !

as expected, France got knocked out by Greece ... they're playing rather well this time round ... next will be the Czechs to get through ... Holland too ! =)

Helped out with the children's side today, and they had a VBS outing at Lower Pierce ... We had a fun time, and a looong banana split (around 6 metres) ... the children loved it naturally ... yummie !

wellz, we had badminton @ Khatib ... a few of the teens and children camp along ... A

t night, I went for the farewell BBQ for Pastor Manning, who will be leaving for Cambodia for good to start a new work there ... They theft situation over there is kinda horrible ... people climbing over the fence and using bamboo poles to fish stuffz out of your house ... and they'll even poison your dog to do it ! 0_o" scorpions seems to be abundant there too ... yikes !

Go Greece Go ! Knock France out, with the style of your flow !

Just arranaged with my tenent to watch the Euro match later ... England vs Portugal @ 2:35am ... He's 24 years, not far from me ... Must sleep early today !

My prediction ? Hmm, tough one ... But I'll go for an England win for the sizzling-hot form of Roodney, and not to say Paul Scholes to back him up from behind too ... Portugal defenders gotta be much faster ... too old and slow to catch up with the young ones ... just hope that Cristiano Rolando can pry the defence often enough ... =)

wellz, just prepared the sermon for the propotional preaching class later on in the evening ... wondered how on earth 4 verses would end up in sooo many words ! hahaz~

finaly reached home ! the trip was great ... started climbing at noon, and reached the summit at close to 5pm ... but this time, a storm brew up while we still had 1/3 left to go ... reallie felt like I was in "Survivor Amazon" that time ...

cooked dinner, sang songs and word-time was from Habbakuk ... the night sky was AWESOME ! kinda looked like a wallpaper from "Star Wars" or something ... I did see a tiny shooting star though ... not many this time round ...

morning was FREEZING COLD ! never wear shorts to sleep up there ... definately colder than your average air-con ...

the climb down took way much longer though ... didn't play at all ... T_T and, dinner was ok, the dishes were nice, just that not quite full at the end ...

sat a cab back with Cheryl, Narene & Joanne ... but stopped before the malaysian causeway to grab some snacks before heading home from the packed customs ...
