Shihlin Shacks Feast

met up with Kenny (aka Micky Mouse), my army friend, for lunch ... he's from the same BMT company as me (Bravo Coy), (also in the drill squad as me during our recruit days ... not to mention the same SISPEC company, the Echo Elites too ...

had lunch at the food court of spagetti with grilled fish before catching the animation "Valiant" ...

it's very (british) english and done by Vanguard Animation ... somehow I expected more as it didn't impress as much as Pixar does ...

after the show, we went to snack at Shihlin Shack and ordered all 3 of them ...



(1) Crispy Chicken
Description: kinda like a fried chicken shop with spices on top, not bad !
Points: 4 / 5

(2) Oyster Mee-Sua
Description: it goes well with the broth, and has oysters in it !
Points: 3.5 / 5

(3) Egg Crepe
Description: looks very similar to the malay version in the pasar-malams ...
Points: 3.6 / 5

Kenny was telling me that the crispy chicken and mee-sua was all over in Taiwan when he went over there during his ASLC (Advanced Section Leader Course) in SISPEC, which I didn't went because I was on my way to become a PTI ... T_T

It seems that everyone who went to the ASLC Taiwan Trip spent all of their month's allowance there ! Kenny spent around $500, but he bought quite a lot of good & cheap stuffs ... his watch costs only $10, his shoes $20, like everything also Taiwan ... darn~
