National Day Parade 2005 with Rui En

went to the padang at 11:15am, and we split into 2 shifts for the afternoon ... I took the 3pm-5pm one, so went to lunch with the guys (Terry, Soon-Kiat, Han, Yuyuan, Teckliang, Max) at Peninsula's Burger-King first ... I was kinda sick of burgers, so just had a cheesecake & a drink for $2.95 ...

after that, went to Funan with Terry to hunt for stuff ... a screen protector for his SE K750i + Memory Stick 256/512MB, and a convertor for the XBOX controller to USB to play on my pc ... but in the end, we didn't buy anything ...

during the parade, something special happened ... Staff was requesting people to ESCORT RUI EN ! wasted no time in "volunteering" myself for the task, and Staff who made sure I got the chance ... hahaz~

well, Rui En's quite chio in person ! Taufik was there too, and I heard someone say to him ... "Taufikm ORD oh !", and he kindly gave a grin in return ...

our job was to escort the 2 stars away from the padang and out of the area ... didn't expect people to actually try very hard to get to them and start pushing to get in ... so we had to muscle them off ! kinda hectic i would say ...

but at the end of the parade, Rui En came out to have her interview at the padang, in which we all had a good chance to get REALLY close and start snapping away pictures for what it seemed eternity ... here are some shots that my friend, Terry, took with his SE K750i phone ... the pictures turned out really good !!!

the rest of them can be found in my photo album here ...
